Old Buffalo Tree farm started growing trees almost 50 years ago on land that already had a rich history traced out in faint wagon ruts, arrowheads and stone tools. While many years of planting saw thousands of trees take root and reach for the sky, other portions of the land were allowed to find their own way and return to what was here before; a bountiful mix of clovers, thistles, shooting stars and a bewildering multitude of other wildflowers flourishing in their natural state, free of any pesticides or fertilizers. It is from these blossoms that our honey bees draw their nectar to craft the unique honey worthy of the Old Buffalo Bee Farm label.
